How long are the physical therapy treatments?
On your first visit expect to be at the office for at least one hour. Each treatment thereafter is about forty five minutes to one hour long. Your physical therapist will determine the appropriate duration and frequency for your treatment plan.
I have low back pain can I just come in and make an appointment?
If insurance is being used, a referral or authorization with the diagnosis signed by a physician for physical therapy is usually required for services. Cash patients do not need a referral.
Do you accept my insurance?
Yonemoto Physical Therapy is contracted with most PPO insurance companies (Aetna, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, First Health and more than 60 others) and is on assignment with Medicare Part B. Work-related injuries requires authorization from the worker's compensation adjustor.
Do you have early morning and late evening appointments?
Our clinic is open on: Monday through Friday - 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Do you have parking?
Free parking is available in our parking lot next to the building. Street parking is also available in front of the building on Raymond Avenue.
What is proper attire for physical therapy?
Comfortable non-constricting clothing.
Are all physical therapist licensed?
A physical therapist has a degree from an accredited institution for a Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy. A physical therapy assistant has completed a degree from an approved Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
