Yonemoto Physical Therapy has released a new newsletter, “The Challenge of Treating Tendinitis”. Tendinitis affects people of all ages, but it is most common in adults age 40 and older. Tendons are the soft tissues that connect a muscle to bone.  Because the muscles are constantly putting strain on the tendons as they move, they can become inflamed or irritated.  This inflammation and irritation can occur in any muscles in any part of the body.

Learn more about tendons and tendinitis by reading “The Challenge of Treating Tendinitis” which covers:

  • Tendinitis: Risk factors and what to do
  • Tips & Tricks: Exercises to minimize problems with tendinitis
  • FAQ: The most frequently asked questions about tendinitis
  • Tendinitis Simple Test: What is the state of your tendons?
  • Featured Physical Therapist: Patty Ou, DPT
